About the project:
This is an ongoing initiative which builds on earlier successful projects and is delivered by the trade unions in partnership with the West Midlands Skills Funding Agency. The project is funded by the Skills Funding Agency ESF Co-Financing programme. The key trade unions within the partnership are Community, GMB, Unite and UNITY. It also works closely with Jobcentre Plus and Nextstep (Connexions adult front line service provider) and a host of public and private training providers. The project is a Skills Funding Agency initiative led by trade unions but you do not need to be a union member to access the support.

Project Information:
The Better west midlands project is backed by the West Midlands Leaders Board and the Skills Funding Agency's regional European Social Fund programme, the project has provided support to over 10,000 workers from over 600 companies in the last three years.
